From May 22 to 24, Zhang Chaochao, Secretary of the CPC Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee, led a friendly economic delegation on a visit to Hong Kong.

During the visit, Zhang Chaochao and his delegation met with Yin Zonghua, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR. He also held separate talks with Gong Peng, Vice President of the University of Hong Kong; Eric Chan Kwok-ki, Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR; Peter Lam Kin-ngok, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council; Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry; Chris Tang Ping-keung, Secretary for Security; as well as Cheng Cheung Ling, President of the Hong Kong China Friendship Association and CEO of CP Pharmaceutical Group, and Ian Fok Chun Wan, CEO of the Fok Ying Tung Group.At the China Shijiazhuang (Hong Kong) Investment Cooperation Promotion Conference, Zhang Chaochao introduced Shijiazhuang’s development progress and policy opportunities, and extended a warm invitation to Hong Kong enterprises and entrepreneurs to invest and start businesses in Shijiazhuang. Eight cooperation projects were signed between Shijiazhuang and Hong Kong enterprises, including Hong Kong Olympic Star Group, South China Group, and Huaao Energy.
